    when they tell you to not gain weight or it will go to other places, make sure you follow those rules! i guess i have gained some. although i had my flanks done which included back rolls, the back rolls are back. they said you couldn't gain back in those places! baloney. places that never had fat now have fat. arms, thighs. it's wierd and gross. sure it's my fault for gaining but it has only been 5 lbs or so. and looks like 25. never again. i almost prefer my old look. at least i could hide that. now i can't bare my arms. i just hope it will come off like it came on.

    my update: after more than three months, i can put on a bra without pain or itching on my back. my doc said i'd have an "hourglass" shape and i definitely do not have that. but the rolls are gone so that is major.

    i do not consider my doctor a quack. as i said, i found out after my first post that he is a plastic surgeon. i do think they were not honest about potential healing time with so much fat removed. they should make people lose weight. but i am slowly healing. i discovered i can wear a bra on top of a tank top and it's ok. that's progress! jciscoming, i am sorry you have years of repairs to go through. and yes the states need to get involved with these medspas.

    i need to correct what i said before. it was a spa, but it appears the doctor is a cosmetic surgeon. i still believe the final results will be worth it -- but my pain and recovery time is much worse than any i have read or heard about. my only complaint with the doctor is i think he should have advised me to lose weight first and that he did not becus he'd rather have the payment then and not later. or risk that i'd never come back. also they should not tell patients they will be back at work in three days when not everyone is the same. here i am 10 wks and cant even wear normal clothes or a bra!!!!!

    It was a medical spa. The doctor was said to be a medical doctor doing this as well. I admit I didnt check his qualifications. dumb. He is now doing breast augmentation too. His staff have the biggest chests and smallest waists I've ever seen. Back to me, I am now 10 weeks out and the burn is still pretty uncomfortable. Still no bra and only elastic pants. Still quite swollen. I hope someone who had a lot of fat removed will tell me their story.
