it sounds like black was used or at least was mixed with another colour...black will respond to laser very well..the q switched ruby laser 1064. mine had turned blue over time. ..there was black mixed with brown pigment..the ruby laser is ideal for those colours and did a great job..dont bother with colour correction as this can effect the efficacy of the laser and take a lot longer to remove...i would just go for laser..it will be simple and not take many sessions. good luck ok?

Hiya. regarding removal laser is definatly the best and only option...i had the treatment and it work very well..ive have also bought the gear necessary for permanent makeup and i have learnt how to do it..ive done my eyebrows twice now..the second being a top up..im very pleased with the outcome..i got the shape and colour i want..i will never ever trust someone else's "art work" on my face again...not going to forget last year in a hurry...dont know why i hadnt thought of doing this earlier and saved so much time and money..this way i can redo them any time i want..the shape and colour is exactly how i want them..i didnt think i could do it but i have proved myself wrong..so theres nothing to stop any of you to have a go yourselves at getting the colour and shape you want... avoid pigments with a high black content,,they will always turn blue..on whatever colour skin you have..these pigments should never be used for make up full stop. ive gone for just "brown" (colour touch range of pigments) and its perfect..no going blue pink or purple..and its very natural looking... dont gamble with your face..bite the bullett and find a way of doing it yourself...it can be done...think about it..i hope i have helped someone out there...its been quite a journey for me as you know...as you are on a similar one..it is an option worth exploring.. i would like to thank the people that have been supportive all through my treatment etc..i wish all of you luck in whatever removal treatment you decide on..permanent makeup is excellent when applied properly...its a gr8 idea for people like us who need it for one reason or another..so sad that so many of you have been through the same kind of hell i have been through when it had gone wrong.. laser is the only safe and trusted way for removal... and if possible..do the permanent makeup yourself...it worked for me...it can work for you..failing that please shop around and make absolutly sure of what you will be getting..i thought i had done enough research but i still got caught out..just be careful you guys ok? take care all of you... good luck chrs xx

hi everyone...update on the removal of eyebrow tattoos...ive had the last laser treatment and it is a lot better than it was...but its an experience i dont want to have to go thru with again.. ive decided to bite the bullet to get trained in PM, buy the gear and do it myself...i will never ever trust anyone else to do them again..it has put me right off..id recommend anyone who is arty and can draw well..and need PM is to do it themselves and not rely on others and having to either live with their mistakes or paying a lot of money for removal.. seems a little drastic i know...and yes you can do the research...i thought that is what i had done...saw the portfolios found one that i was impressed with... then had it done..worst decision i made...doing it myself enables me to do them the way i like them..as often as i need...so its worth considering.. just a thought...ill keep u posted how i get on... good luck to everyone going thru the misery i did..laser is the only way for removal. and if its gentle fading u want then tattoo 20% hydrogen peroxide ( not recommended for large areas ).....i tried that and it made it more bearable while i waited for the laser treatments.....hope this helps...

hiya.....regarding pigments containing iron oxides and laser treatment is not the problem..its titanium oxide that is the main problem with lasers in that it could turn black with the treatment...tattoo and permanent makeup in most cases are iron oxide based...and can be removed with laser with varying degrees of success..im in the process of having treatment on my eyebrows...there was a high level of black pigment ( the actual colour was a very dark brown )which faded to a bluish tone...initially i was worried it would turn black instead it turned blue and has started to fade dramatically..black is one of the easier colours to remoive by laser...mine are being done with a ruby laser set to 7.6..i hope this helps..
