Aquamid is not recomended under the eye (peri orbital) or the tear trough area. I would be very interested how she expects to remove it? Lumps can be successfully removed from the lips, if the lump is product. but the only way they I know that it can be removed from else where is to surgically remove it. However is the swelling recent? if so, it may just be inflammation and will subside. Do you have your aftercare information?

These coments prove to me that these sites can be just as dangerous as they are helpful. It is clear that the previous person or your self have absolutely no education on this product. Aquamid is a very safe product that has been used in Australia for more than 10 years with very few adverse events infact less than other non permanent fillers (recent study). The problem lies with novice/inexperienced people injecting ANY 'medical' cosmetic product. In Australia the only way you can receive any injectable is at a accredited medical practice, and suitably trained registered nurses must be working with a doctor in order to inject as they are all S4 (prescription only) drugs. Please educated yourself and change your thinking....All dermal fillers botox etc are MEDICAL treatments that enhance your appearance they are NOT beauty products

aquamid can not be dissolved as it it not an hyluronic, it is a injectable implant. Firstly you need to assertain that the lump is the product and not inflammation which can be treated with steriods. As you have already tried to have the product 'squeezed' out your only other option is to see a plastic rescontructive surgeon to have the product surgically removed. I can not undertsand how and why anybody would purchase this type of product on line and inject themselves. Aquamid is only to be injected by extremely experienced injectors.
