  About 18 months ago, I bought the "prescribed" MODUS steps from my dermatologist's office. I had 6 steps to follow and the cost of these 6 products was over $600. I used them for about 1.5 months, then stopped using them. The main reason was the very DISTINCT and unpleasant smell of several of the products. This smell was not acceptable to me or to my husband, who commented on it quite a bit.

  I tried the entire Modus line and purchased it from my dermatologist about 1.5 years ago. I had TONS of steps, plus several of the products had a very distinct smell to them, and they were very unpleasant to myself and my husband. I got tired of all the steps after more than a month, and stopped using them. The cost of the products that were suggested to me were over $600. Over the past year, I have had a regular dermabrasion done every 4 weeks. For my age, my skin was in very good condition, with fewer than average wrinkles and sunspots (I had the CO2 laser done 10 years ago, and the Rhytec done on my neck & chest 3 years ago). I just had the Fraxel Re:Pair done on June 24th and will report on that soon. I have 2 places that have not healed as well but they are improving. I hope my comments on MODUS are useful.
