hi Summerbreeze,
I have cellulite, and my doctor recommended i do lipo-x to smoothen out and tighten my skin. I have more stretchmarks than cellulite. I guess my cellulite is not as bad as most women's, but i would like to save up and get lipo-x treatments. Smartlipo does not correct or help any cellulite issues to be honest. I would recommend smartlipo, especially with my surgeon. He was amazing, and my results were better than i ever thought. Let me know if you have any other questions and i'll be glad to see what i can do!
Hi Ladies! I just got my after shots taken, and I asked my Doctor's assistant to email me a cd of the pictures to show you all the results, before and after. I can't seem to find an edit button to the post... :/
Hi Luna! It has been a little over 1 month and almost 2 weeks since my procedure. I am actually going in for my follow-up appointment this Friday in the morning. :) I have been walking normally for some time now, and wearing the body suit they gave me is very important, and really not that bad to wear! I would have to say that I was not very swollen after the procedure, but then again...my thighs always seemed permanently swollen, lol. 2-3 weeks after the surgery, I have been fitting more "comfortably" in my normal pants. I decided to go on a strict lean protein diet, and cutting a lotttttt of sugar which i, OH SO LOVE...out of my diet. When i want ice cream, i have a serving...not five! Apparently It's not that i was eating too much, but more so i was not eating enough REAL FOOD! I am a month in my "HEALTHY FOOD LIFESTYLE"--not diet, and have lost and kept 6 stubborn pounds of fat off my body. I am losing weight slowly, but i think the surgery really made me aware. Dieting after the surgery, i can definitely see the results. Everybody has said I "lost" a lot of weight, but then again I am shorter than the standard "short" and 1 lb looks like 3. My inner thighs REALLY look slimmer. My brother (yes...a male) said that i don't look as wide. I am sure he meant my saddle bags are pretty much gone! I still have my curves, just less fat! I am most happy with my fatty knees. They're not fatty anymore! :) For the first time in my life...i went and bought shorts for this summer to wear over my bikini! I would never dare wear shorts except around the house, and my legs are comfortably thinner. Skinny? No...don't think i ever will be, but that's ok! The results are NOT drastic, but are noticeable. Especially with eating high amounts of protein and less amounts of fat. I am aiming for another 7 lb to reach my height requirements. I have seen pictures of people who have done their hips, and stomach and results look waaay more noticeable! So I wish you luck with your procedure if you decide to do it. I would pay again to do outer thighs, and maybe the left over-extra fat left underneath my big butt, BUT i'm not sure if I would pay 7grand for that again. The pain was well worth it. I would say realistically, one month later...it's like nothing ever happened. I am looking into getting something to fade the incisions. I am tan/get dark...so my scars will turn purple if I don't take care of it now. I'll try and get post opp pictures from my doctor. Best of Luck!
