I also had a female surgeon in Sweden (maybe the same one!) and I was very happy with her. I had face lift, and loved her conservative approach. She only suggested what really needed to be done, not more or less. I would go back to her if I were you, and see if she can fix your problem.
There are many excellent plastic surgeons in Sweden - I did extensive research before having a facelift in September 2009. I live in California but chose to have the surgery in Sweden because of the very reasonable prices. I think you should look for another surgeon in Sweden that can correct your problem. There is no reason to travel to the US for this, the quality of care is not better than what you can find in Sweden and the cost is very high. I recommend a consultation with several reputable surgeons - I had my facelift with Disa Lidman on Ă–land, but I can also recommend Victoriakliniken in Stockholm.
Lycka till!
I had the extended MACS face lift with lipo under chin about 4 months ago. I am very happy with results, I am completely symmetrical, jowls are gone, most of the scarring has resolved.I have no sign of where the sutures that holds the muscles in place were placed. I had my surgery in Europe by a reputable PS - I wonder if some of the problems people are having is the lack of training in this technique in the US? I hear a lot of PS's recommending compete traditional lifts - I think this is valid, unless you have very early signs of aging like I did. Your surgeon should be able to tell you when this technique is appropriate and when it's not. And any lift that is not symmetrical should be corrected - and not at your expense!
