    Correction to my initial post above: I think we went for our first treatment in the spring of 2009, not in 2007.

    PLEASE AVOID FRAXEL FOR YOUR PATIENTS AT ALL COSTS.

    I can honestly say I would probably recommend doctors to avoid lasers all together. Fraxel indeed ruins the skin and makes you aged. Every day I am reminded of the damage it has done to me, and every day I am hoping for new methods to reverse the damage from Fraxel. Its ruined my social life to a large extent.

    Kate, I am a genuine Fraxel patient and I truly doubt the truthfulness of your miraculous experience. Your experience of the treatment sound like copy and paste with a bit of Hollywood mixed in. It doesn't even sound like a genuine experience. Stop trolling for this company that ruin skin!

    Dear Dr Davis. Your posts are from 2009 but I only came across them today as I haven't gone through all the discussions about Fraxel on here.

    Fraxel is HORRIBLE. I don't recommend it to anyone physician. 100% promise that it completely ruined my skin. I am sure many other lasers do more damage than good. I now look about 15 years older than my age. This is not an exaggeration and I am not a competitor to Fraxel. I am only a deeply disappointed patient and a victim of this awful treatment. For women to age prematurely is horrible because the pressure to look younger is on us, not on men.

    Blurry after pictures with no close-ups of your skin, and not a single before picture in detail really does not give an accurate representation of Fraxel treatments. Fraxel ruins the skin and give considerable premature aging. Fraxel reviews were so bad, the company started counter-reviews with fake reports to reduce the volume of bad reviews.
