HUGE difference. It's been almost a year for me now and I LOVE my nose. I STILL don't think all the swelling has gone down yet, but the way I look now verse the way I looked in January (8 mo) is substantially different. I think it really takes 2 years to see your final result, changing only to your own eye up to 4 yrs (from what I have read). It's super hard to wait and see, I know--but have faith, the swelling will go down. I took a photo of myself (front, & profile) every 2 weeks and made a flip book in order to see the improvements. My doctor said you get used to your new looks and forget how big it was previously--so I made the book and he was right, I can really see the changes. Good luck, and have faith, swelling takes FOREVER to go away--especially if you had open rhinoplasty and/or thick skin.
I don't know. I used it and it did work. You can't thin out the top because it slides off, but you can (and I have) thinned out the tip.
I didn't like using it. It hurt/annoyed me.
However, it was 30 bucks and it thinned my tip and now no more re-do to my nose! I just wanted to avoid surgery again.
So I guess everyone is different.
You and me both. That is the first thing the doctor said when he saw me, you have very thick skin, which is good for aging but bad for result time. I hope it doesn't take 2 years to go down, but honestly 2 years is better than nothing.
I ordered a nose huggie online to speed up the process. Just google nose huggie if you're interested. I am waiting for it to come in, once it does, I'll let you know if it works.
Thank you so much. I really needed to hear your story and your results to clam down. It's been such a rollercoaster. Yes, mine was also extrememly invasive. I had an open septorhinoplasty with multiple grafts, and nostril shrinking and replacement. It was IN depth.
I am so glad to hear that you can look back at 2mo to current and see a big difference. I guess bc my surgery was so extreme, it is taking longer. That and the fact that I happen to have thick skin. I guess that makes the healing process take longer as well. Patience is a virtue! I'll wait on the injections.
