I too had a nightmare with my birthday present to myself at 42. I thought having my eyes "refreshed" with a little tuck would make me happy and looking well rested. I should have left the office the day of my surgery after seeing lots of dust in the waiting room, receiving a robe with a betadine stain on it and a seeing a trash can that was already filled to the top at 8 am! I was given a cream (that I paid for)for my eyes that had exactly what I'm allergic to in it. My allergy was told to both the Dr. and the nurse. My eyes were burning so badly from this cream, it was finally figured out. When I have gone back to the office, the nurse and Doctor state that my results are just like some other patient that wasn't happy with her results either. I am a nurse, this is never done! My two week recovery took almost two years. A nerve was hit on my right eye that will never resolve. I missed every party or function, spent a lot of time crying. My eyes look terrible. This Doctor was a grad of U of P, very well credentialed. I would never recommend this MD, or any of his staff. This was an expensive, awful experience that I hope never happens to anyone else. His office is located in Blue Bell Pennsylvania. I have sought out a very well known eye surgeon to correct what can be corrected. Thankfully, my friends are not only nurses and Doctors, but extremely understanding and very supportive.
