it was called hummingbird spa - unfortunately they went out of business. i actually had a bad experience with them for laser hair removal after that, so i don't personally recommend them (they have locations across canada). i inquired a second time about it and the lady said $250 per half mL so the first lady might have misquoted me.
we look about the same age and i have had ipl facials about 3 or 4 times (i stopped because it didn't seem to make a difference). my experiences were very different then yours, my ipl treatments took about 12 minutes each time for my entire face (obviously there may be different types of ipl). i am very surprised to see your provider is doctor because i can't imagine from my experiences that a doctor or even an aesthetician would recommend further treatments if your skin is responding like this. i wouldn't do another treatment unless you got a credible second or third opinion saying it would help. good luck.
