I just came across your bad experience with IPL. I had my first treatment today. So far I am responding exactly how the doctor said I would. It was a little uncomfortable during the treatment, but my doctor routinely asked me how my comfort level was. I am sorry about your terrible experience. Persons seeking this treatment should make sure the doctor is competent and trained in this procedure. Ask questions; if the doctor is a professional, he/she won't care about your desire to be safe. I was also struck by the amount of money you posted ($150.00) for your treatment. You should be paying around $300.00 to $600.00 total per area for 3 to 4 treatments.
