I am so sorry for you all. You have been through such horrible experiences. Thank you for sharing your stories.

We are all concerned about saving money, of course. However, a point to consider is that if there are complications, the legalities involved could make it impractical. Trying to sue an M.D. in a foreign country would be a nightmare at best, impossible at worst. The expense involved, were it even a possibility, would make it impractical. I see stories about what a great idea doing this would be because of the opportunity to have a vacation. I would be so nervous about the upcoming surgery that I would want to get it over with as soon as arriving. I felt like living hell after my surgeries. I could not have enjoyed anything for a month or more, and the idea of having to fly afterwards sounds like a true nightmare.

I have decided to not have Thermage after reading the helpful comments entered on this site. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time and put out the energy to tell your truths. I am highly suspect of the visitor(s) who (anonymously)question every entry which states problems experienced. I am SURE that the public relations agency and other people making money off of Thermage scan the internet for criticisms of their products and submits entries in an attempt to neutralize all negative reports by consumers. I have had a face lift, Botox, abdominoplasty, dermabrasion, and laser treatments which I will comment on some time in the future. The problem for which I have been invesigating Thermage is sagging skin on my upper arms. If anyone has any ideas about this, please share. My M.D.,who is a board certified plastic surgeon refuses to do a brachioplasty on them, which I admire him for. He says the scarring is too severe for the operation to make it worth it. Patricia
