  • Posted to Botox Created New Wrinkles Under my Eyes and Gave Me Weird Chipmunk Cheeks! on 20 Feb 2013

The under eye wrinkles have improved by my upper eyelids droop and I have starburst effect on the side of my eyes when I smile. This is a direct cause of the Botox I had. I have been doing facial muscle exercises every day for 3 years and they have helped a lot, but my face has never returned to what it was before I had Botox. Don't believe what they say...BOTOX CAUSES PERMANENT DAMAGE!!!

Hi everyone, I haven't been to this site for over a year and I wish that I had better news to share, but it's been 18 and half months since I had Botox and my face has not improved.

Every day has been total torture for me and my life has been put on hold, waiting for my face to recover.

My eyes have aged, I have a starburst effect on my outer eyes and puckering of skin on the upper, outer eyelids when I smile and new fine lines under my eyes. I had young, perfect eyes before Botox (had B to prevent aging - it did the total opposite). I haven't smiled widely infront of people for one and a half years. I have done EVERYTHING possible to restore my face. The list of various treatments etc. that I have tried goes on and on. I do facial muscle exercises daily (flex effect and Carolyns exercises). The only bit of positive news is that my upper eyelids no longer sag (Botox caused them to swell and sag). Everybody used to tell me that I looked 10 years younger than my age before Botox. I was a model and valued my appearance and was proud of my attractive, youthful looks. Eyes are such an important facial feature and people judge a person's age by their eyes. I have lost all my self confidence. I now work from home and hate going out. My poor husband and kids have really suffered with me. I have just found out that I am pregnant (unplanned) and I'm not excited at all. How can I be happy when I know that a revolting poison damaged my pretty, youthful face?

This nightmare has just gone on and on and I've tried to stay positive, but it's been very difficult. I've tried to manifest healing in my life through a spiritual, mental and physical approach, but all to no avail. I can fill up an ocean with the amount of tears I've shed in the past 18 months. The severe ongoing stress has taken a toll on my health. I constantly get colds and flu and suffer from chronic fatigue.

I'm so sorry to be a profit of doom and gloom, but I feel that it's important for people to know the truth about Botox because it is disgusting stuff that should have been banned long ago!!!

The fact that it is still being injected into people's faces is horrific. My heart goes out to each and every one of you who are suffering the toxic effects. I hope and pray that in time all our faces are completely restored. Believe in complete healing and NEVER give up hope. xx

Wow, congrats HWM!!!! Graduating with a masters degree is such an amazing achievement. I'm so proud of you...and I'm even more proud that you did not drink to celebrate. Your sushi roll was well deserved and I hope that you enjoyed it. :)
