These procedures are no more painful than dental procedures or injectable fillers .I sedate most of my patients ( if they have a ride home) so they have no memeory of any discomfort. These procedures range from $1000 to $3500 as the cost and time to harvest the patiient's own donor tissue has to be considered. If alloplastic materials are used, the cost is in the lower range. If done with a face lift ,the additional charge is nominal.

Often the trauma of injecting the filler will make the lips look very full for a few days. Many of the temporary fillers that are now popular can be absorbed by the body within 4-6 weeks. In a certain individual one injectible substance may work better than another. I prefer surgical augmentation of the lips, however the long term results of some of the substances we use to fill the lips, such as fat, dermis or fascia can diminish with time.

A picture would be very helpfull. It is hard to believe that you paid $225 for even the most minimal eyelid procedure. It does not sound like you would have had a blepaharoplasty performed.

This should resolve with time. I would recommend no particular treatment.
