I was wondering about your decision to go for Invisalign over braces. I want to get my teeth straightened but my dentist told me that I would need surgery since I am an adult (26) and my bones in my jaw and my teeth have stopped growing. The surgery would be done first and then the braces applied. I went to see the orthodontist he recommended for his opinion and he told me the same thing. Now I'm not sure if my condition is considered slight, mild, or severe since I've never asked. Have you been told something like this as an adult seeking teeth straightening. I have not went for a second opinion or inquired about Invisalign as an alternative yet. Thanks.
