So I met up with a friend just yesterday who mentioned that my face looked different from when she had seen me just 2 months after my surgery.

Now almost 2 years later, I have gotten used to my new face. I guess the best advice I could give anyone is that healing takes a long time, both inside and out.

I think the upper jaw was moved by 6mm forward, maybe even more? But definitely 6mm or more.

It was done in Canada and thus covered by OHIP.
