Your results look great!! Congratulations! It looks like you recovered quicker than a lot of people and had less initial swelling. I'm wondering if that's partly because you didn't have lipo? How long did you keep the drain in? I don't want lipo - it does look like your flanks got smaller - was that just a side effect of the surgery or maybe from losing weight during the recovery period? I wouldn't mind having my flanks get smaller but adding lipo to a big surgery and adding that swelling when you're trying to get a scar to lie flat seems like it wouldn't give the best result... Do you have any thoughts on doing it without lipo? Thanks so much for your advice!

How is your stomach now? Has the swelling subsided? Do you think the dr handled it okay? I am thinking about getting a tt with the same doctor so I'd love to know if your perspective on him has changed with the swelling issue. I really hope it is better for you now!

Hi, Thanks for your posting. How soon after smartlipo did you start velashape and it did make a definite difference? Similarly, I had Smartlipo and have some lumps on my stomach. My doctor offered me 6 sessions of Smooth Shapes for free but I live several hours away and trying to drive there and line up childcare is difficult. A local place offers velashape so I was wondering if that would accomplish the same thing as smooth shapes. I would obviously have to pay for it but it may be worth it for the cost of driving and childcare... Anyhow, I'd love to hear how soon you did it, how often and how much improvement you saw from it. Thank you so much for any advice!!
