Ski and Swollen Nose After Nose Tip Surgery

Hi Dr S, My ps has said that it dangerous to have steroid injections and she will give them to me. I live in the uk, what would be the best i could do? could I go to another surgeon? Thanks Unhappy :(

Hun your nostrils r not the right shape, one is a lot smaller than the other. I am 10 weeks post op and i have the same prob, i have been told to wait 6 months and then see what the surgeon can do. email me and i will send u my pic

YOur a beautiful lady and i can relate to what you have gone through as my nose looked exactly the same as your does. If i had not used the measures i went through it would to some degree still look awful. BUT I use a nose huggie which gets rid of scar tissue build up and swelling which u can buy on line and i taped my nose also i use those things swimmers use to stop water getting in through the nose. Trust me it helps, its not a cure but it makes the nose smaller and now when i do not use the contraptions my nose swells but is a hell of a lot smaller than it was before. Hi Sherri I had nose tip refinement and my nostrils made smaller on 29th July, its been 8 weeks and my nostrils are different shaped and my tip is so swollen. I have resorted to wearing nose clips, the ones swimmers wear to ensure water does not get in the nose when swimming and its the only thing that has helped, i tried taping the nose, all the herbal meds, massge and not 1 thing helped. I wear the nose clip at night and breath through my mouth but at least it is better than having a horrid swollen nose.
