Mine ruptured after five years, and they only had a ten year warranty on them. They replaced the implant but not the surgery and i had to wait to be reimbursed my money. The warranty thingie is kinda new from what my doctor explained to me. You best option is to call the original doctor who did your surgery and have them pull your file. They should be able to tell you any and everything about your implants. BTW mine are Natrelle and my new implant has a confidence plus warranty on them with lifetime guarantee and i only had to pay an extra 100 dollars for the warranty, so worth it! And if the new one ruptures they will pay to have both of my implants replaced for free including the surgery costs!
ummmmmm i hope you did not do it, cuz you know that the implant will still be in your body and need to be taken out anyways right? you can get a very serious infection if not.
My breast implant ruptured last week after only 5 years. Most implants have a warranty from the manufacturer. I only had to pay 500 for the operation to remove and insert a new implant, and the new implant was covered at no additional cost from the manufacturer. I am surprised the doctor did not mention this to you?????? why would he use an implant that was not covered, especially for the safety of his clients.
What a moron, it was like he was deliberately trying to deform you and get his jollies out of it at the same time. When I bought my insurance for mine the doctor had to write down how big each side was and what kind for the insurance. I am curious as to what your doctor wrote in the form on yours. 2 different shapes and on the wrong sides, was he sniffing the laughing gas while working?
