I started my period about a week after my surgery, normally my period gets heavy for a day and usually lasts 3-4 days, however this period was incredibly heavy and thick, it lasted about 6 days. My doctor didn't have an answer for what was happening. All is fine now, I assumed it was a response to the anesthesia.

I too have saline unders and mine also are hard in the morning, they even start to feel hard throughout the day if I don't massage them. When I asked my doctor he said it is caused by swelling and to keep massaging. I hope this doesn't continue for too long, it makes working somewhat uncomfortable at times.

Honestly, I know exactly how you feel, mine looked exactly the same way for about two weeks- it was horrible. I kept saying that I was smuggling loaf cakes lol, the tops were square and sitting directly under my collar bones. It has been almost four weeks and I am now seeing much improvement. Be patient, it will get better! With sub-muscular placement it can take three to six months for your final result and almost everyone’s look square and ugly at first, shame on your doctor for not telling you. I hope I have reassured you!
