    No, I am not a smoker and never have been. I had no risk factors that I know of. I am young, healthy, and fit. This was a completely unexpected complication which hopefully will resolve soon. My infection is gone and my surgeon believes that the area will heal well on its own, it will just take a few weeks. Best of luck to you.

    Just wondering if you could update on your progress? Has your incision healed or is it still open? I had my tummy tuck and lipo 2 weeks ago today and I am having the exact same issue. It is very anxiety provoking and I was not expecting this type of complication. I finished a round of Keflex yesterday and I am seeing my surgeon today for follow-up. I hope your recovery is going much better now. Best wishes.
