My problem was the same and I also had capsular contractions. The problem was never fixed even though i had paid for 4 different revisions to try and fix the problem and did massage and medication. I made the decision to have my implants removed. I am now a week post op and I have to say it is not what i expected. They look so much better. I wish I would of had them removed sooner. I'm not sure what option youll choose but PS's will give you the runaround and never guarantee you anything. This was the best solution for me. I have better ways of spending my time and money as does everyone and was frustrated with the whole thing. Now all the problems are gone. Its a great feeling. I wish you the Best of luck in whatever you choose.

If you have problems with capsular contracture they will more than likely continue no matter how many revisions you get. My opinion is to have them removed and spend your money on something more worthwhile. I had 4 revisions due to capsular contracture and recently had my implants removed and couldnt be happier. If you decide to keep them I wish you the best of luck. I am just responding to different woman who are having similar problems I've had and telling them removal is the only guarantee youll get for no future problems. Even though mine are removed and I'm fine now I am so frustrated with these PS's telling us woman to take the singulair and massage when it never works. Basically giving us false hope while they line their pockets with revision money. Its a sad state of affairs but goes on everyday. Just keep in mind the PS will never give you a guarantee as nice as they may be, they will smile, kiss you on the cheek and then youll be back in 6 months beside yourself with the same problem. Good luck you I wish you the best. My heart goes out to everyone who has these problems.

I just have to reply on this. I see so many PS telling us to try medication or massage techniques that it may help. Well god bless those it does help. But I had capsular contracture problems ever since I first had implants when I was 21 and had 4 revisions removing the scar tissue just for it to come back again and I been on all the different meds and massage was a part time job. It just doesnt work. I had mine removed too costly and not worth the headaches. If your body is rejecting the implants it probably will continue to no matter what you do. If you want to keep the implants I wish you the best of luck but just remember you will continue to line the pockets of the ps while he will never give you a guarantee that any revision will work. Removal is an option and not always such a bad outcome. I had mine in for 20 years and paid thru the nose hoping theyd be fixed and to no avail. I feel so much better that theyre out and my problems are gone guaranteed! My point of this message is I'm so tired of the ps's rambling about how theyre gonna help when they probably know youll have another bad outcome.

I recently had my breast implants removed after 20 years of costly problems. I had a similar problem like in your picture where it looks like there is a crease there. This is not going away and will need surgery to try and correct. Even after 4 different costly revisions I still had problems with scar tissue forming. I am very happy now that my implants are out and my outcome was not as bad as I invisioned. My main point of this message is if you really want to keep them then try a revision but if you continue to have problems then consider having them taken out. THe PS will never give you a guarantee but with them out your problems will be over. It took me 20 years to find the nerve and make the decision to take them out because I was so afraid of the outcome - I just wish I would of done it waaaaaay sooner and saved myself tons of money but I never thought of it as an option and no one ever told me it was an option, but it is and no more waste of money. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck whatever you decision, I've been there depressed and unsure what to do so I can totally relate. God bless
