I live in Dallas and was referred to Dr. Charles Powell as well by a girlfriend who works for Cynosure. I am currently nursing my second child so I am doing my consult in late July and plan to do the procedure around the holidays. I know that is late, but I will DEFINITELY post an honest review when I am done. I always do with anything I have had done...

I am getting a little nervous seeing the posts about this smoothshape thing (a few of mentioned it). Is that costing additional money? I am naturally a skeptical person, so pardon me if I sound like a Debbie downer, but it just reminds me of when I had acoustic wave therapy years ago -- Dr. Johnson promised it would work and then when it did not AT ALL, he talked me into more sessions at a "reduced price." I never saw any results and that was about $1k down the drain. All that said, I DO see results in your pictures and am hopeful for you that it will continue.

And, girl, STAY away from those Nordstrom's dressing rooms. My girlfriends and I have been saying for years that they are the absolute worst. Why that company will not invest in some more forgiving lighting is beyond me. All it makes me want to do is run out of that store, which is certainly not causing me to spend more $$.

I have been watching your story closely and really hope you will continue to provide updates because I also live in Dallas and Dr. Powell was referred by a friend of mine that works for Cynosure. I am SO nervous about spending a ton of money on this and it not working. I feel like I have already spent a fortune on things that just disappointed such as acoustic wave therapy years ago. I am 5'9 and 137 pounds and my cellulite is probably not awful to most but moderately bad to me. I want to get my butt, about halfway down the backs of my legs and (strangely) my inner thighs done. Ever since I had my first child I have noticed cellulite on that area too and it makes the front of my legs look not so great also.... The worst is the retail dressing room lighting -- Nordstrom's makes you want to burst into tears!! I just had my second child and plan to have this done in the late Fall when I am done nursing. So, I hope that you will continue to give your honest opinion about this procedure that I know a ton of us have been waiting months to try. Many thanks and I really hope that you get the results you are hoping for!

That area is really the only one I have those kind of deep lines in. I do have some minor lines above my lips that I would love to get help with, but I am not sure Juverderm works on this. I am 7 months pregnant so will have to check back in with them after I have my baby boy :)

Even my plastic surgeon who does my botox etc ...said this was a scam. He is VERY reputable (635 and Preston -- has been doing PS for years)....
