It's supposed to be black, it wont actually scab til 24 hours.
Ive tried wart mole vanish which is basically the same thing but the itworks is cheaper on ebay at $62 shipped.
As for scarring, removing skin lessons will usually always scar but its not that bad. The scarring is usually just a small white mark that can be covered by make up.
