Thought I may as well attempt to make this into a kind of holiday too....Im sure there are plenty walking round in huge sunnies and hats ;-)

Thanks Happywithme. I am pretty scared of going through the surgery. In all honesty though, I don't think I could ever feel as desperate as I have over the last few months the fact that Im facing surgery thousands of miles doesnt even seem out of the ordinary. A year ago I would never have believed what an impact the next 12 months was going to have on my life......and all due to dermal filler!! I wish to God Id let the filler dissolve on its own, I hope your lips resolve soon Happywithme, I think we will all cherish our wrinkles from now on.

Thanks all for your support we are all going through this wretched mess together. I am sure that most of us will recover and heal without surgical intervention. I was my own worst enemy as I simply refused to live with it and allowed hyaluronidase to be pumped into my face as physicians told me I still had filler or sweling. Well, I know now that what appeared to be filler or swelling is actually the lower eyelid muscle that has weakened. This looks worse as the skin under my eye is stretched and hollowed and I have absolutely no doubt that it is permanent damage. I booked to go to LA as over here in the Uk I kept getting the comments "youre still attractive", "natural ageing", "fluid retention that will go" blah blah f*****g blah. The top guy over here recommended skin tightening, did not really see an issue until he took a pic without a flash. He told me to come back in 6 months after trying non surgical tightening. I had radiofrequency once which I might add was so painful!! A course of 6 was recommended but in all honesty by the time I'd of had all that I'd have forked out the same amount as it would have been for surgery with no guarantee it was going to work......hence ive now taken the bull by the horns as it were, sought advice from what I beleive is that best eye surgeon available, booked and fly on 30th Sept, Yikes!! Not sure of the complete surgery plan as yet but it will definitely include a lower eyelid skin pinch with muscle tightening and maybe also fat transfer......Bang!!! my 'natural' looks have gone forever, my only hope is that I can be restored to what I looked like before this fiasco, I simply cannot look in the mirror for much longer and be reminded of my stupidity. I am feeling slightly more relaxed now that I have actually booked and paid deposit, its quite surreal, like its not my life if you get what I mean? its just seems ridiculous that its come to this but hey ho....I have some hope in the knowledge that I'll be in the best hands though hope is coupled with the despair that I'm going to be broke for a long while!
