Helena,
The reason why you received no reply is because there is nothing you need to have done to you. The only thing you need to do now is appreciate your beauty. You look beautiful and young. My 10 year old daughter has a bit of hollowness in her tear trough from allergies/hereditary, but is still a lovely, young-skinned dewy kid. Please realize that you are examining yourself with too much judgement. Check out the images of the once beautiful Korean woman who self injected with cooking oil (Google images) and turned herself into a sad monster. (I truly felt for her.) You are seeing something that does not exist. (Certain angles of lighting will show the natural muscles under the face that we ALL have. You have fallen prey to a society (Western) that judges women and girls far too harshly. This causes illness in young girls and women-- like anorexia, bulimia, the over injecting of fillers, too much tanning etc. (The NJ Tanning lady for ex.) Stay beautiful and away from any procedure that will make you look less pretty. In the future--8 to 10 years from now--you may need a bit of filler under the eyes, but make sure the injector is a doctor who is very familiar with the use of filler that dissolves (like Restylane) in the tear trough. He/she should tend toward under-correction and inject to the bone, so you don't get the Tydell effect (blue color showing from filler shot to close to surface.)
Please believe me and those around you, who no doubt tell you the same, you are lovely..have great cheeks and cheek bones, a perfect nose, plump pretty young lips and a great jaw bone and definition. . I'm trying to help you reSEE yourself. What is true and real. Say everyday twice (once in the morning and once at night before bed: I am beautiful and I like/love myself.
How are things going, Claremont? I didn't get swelling, (just the weird indent) and now things are ok. I had them refilled by my NYC doc, who is wonderful. I think you may have been allergic to the product. If this hasn't subsided already, I would drink lots of fluids to flush out the allergens and take an over the counter anti-inflammatory.
Your best bet is to get some filler placed there by a doctor skilled with use of filler not only in lips but also in jowl area. (I had ultherapy and it isn't that effective for the money you will need to spend) Restylane or Juvaderm (one that will dissolve or can be dissolved with Vitrase) being used in the pre-jowl indents is becoming a more well known procedure. It doesn't look like you will need a lot there... maybe a half cc or a little more, I would think. It will cost you less and will be a definite fix. I had this done and loved it immediately!
Four days ago I had my fifth laser treatment for hair removal of my upper lip. It appears the doctor had the machine on too high because it hurt a lot more than usual and I got small very light burns. Now they have transformed to tiny black dots (that don't hurt)that look like hairs stuck in the follicle.
What are they? Will they go away? Is there any thing I could to speed their healing?
Thanks for any and all info.
