I absolutely love this product! I travel across the U.S. and suffer from congested skin constantly. About the same time I started using the Repechage drying lotion I went on vactation to Miami and the airline lost my bags for the entire 4 days I was there. When I went to Nordstrom for an alternative solution (Repechage isn't quite as prevalent of a brand), I was encouraged to buy Mario Badescu's drying lotion. I've owned both the Mario Badescu and the Repechage drying lotions for over a year and a half now and both have served me well. Although Mario Bascescu's lotion was less expensive, a more makeup-friendly (for light skin tones) blendable pinkish color, and cleaned off easier, I definitely can say the Repachage drying lotion is more effective in drying out while healing white heads and open pores after extractions quicker. The Repechage lotion looks like you've literally put white-out on your face but, hey, desperate times call for desperate measures:-) As a model, this product has saved me from the-night-before-the-shoot pimples or when I have a very inflamed embarrassing blemish as well as prevented beginnings of blemishes from getting worse. Also, Mario Badescu's lotion is a bottle of liquid with a clay-like sediment at the bottom that should not be shaken to mix together. A q-tip is usually dipped all the way down to the bottom of the bottle so that the cotton is soaked in a clear toner/witch hazel-like solution while some of the thick pink stuff from the bottle is on the end before applying to the affected area. This tends to be messy and not travel friendly (but is slightly less bizarre-looking to have on your face for in inevitable trip to the grocery store).
