Your mother sounds pessimistic...not that that's a bad thing...but in this case it is. You just had a VERY invasive surgery. You are going to be swollen, and that's to be expected...it also looks like to start you had thick skin. You are only on day 13 don't listen to negativity. Stay positive so that you can heal in a healthy manner. I have a feeling you are going to look absolutely gorgeous. All the best! :)

WOW, I actually went to that Dr. for a consultation and I was very sketched out. He really didn't have much to show me. Insulted me about my nose...almost as though he was afraid to work on it, knowing he would mess it up. I feel like your nose job should have been easy to an experienced surgeon. Hope everything works out in the end for you.
