Dear Clarissa
It sounds like you had a lower face lift. It does not lift the cheek tissues. You may need to have a slightly more extensive lift done to lift up the cheek.
Unfortunately it requires re-opening the original incisions.
I suggest you speak to the surgeon who performed your surgery and discuss the options with them. Otherwise you may need another procedure to address the concerns.
Dear Veronica
Fraxel works well on scars and pigmentation, but it takes a while to get the result. Most patients in the book are 6-9 month out. Also your treatments must be taylored to the types of lesions you are trying to improve. If they are deep, then higher power setting may be needed, if they are indented, additional procedures (subcision) may need to be done.
Based on what you said above, I would suggest talking to your doctor, and waiting a bit longer.
Best wishes
I cannot speak about Lifestyle Lift but I do perform Quicklifts.
In my practice it successfully replaced traditional facelifts because of shorter recovery, comparable durability and effectiveness with improvement of face, neck, jowls, cheeks.
I would not put Quicklift in the same category as other minilifts. It is not skin only based and therefore more durable. It is not based on skin tension and therefore does not create un-natural pull on the face. It takes about 1-2 hours and recovery is about 5-10 days with proper post - operative recommendations.
I perform well over 100 every year with universally very high level of patient satisfaction.
