Hi, I went to this surgeon because I wanted upper and lower bleph surgery, or a forehead lift. He said a forehead left with give me the 'surprised look', and recommended upper/lower bleph, chin implant, co2 laser under the eyes, and a mid face/cheek lift. I have bad nasal folds and was asking about filler for the folds, but was told the mid face lift would help the folds and the fillers were only temporary. I planned on spending no more than $8000.00, but was told what a savings to have all done at once, and I would regret not having all done, so I spent the $14,000 and had it all done. It has been 3 weeks since my surgery. I have been to 5 post op visits. I have told them there is no change in the cheek area. He now says I need to add the 'icing' on and get the fillers. I didnt' understand how there is no change at all to the mid face. After looking on the internet, I am fairly certain he did the traditional face lift instead. (my neck even looks better.) But what I paid for was a mid face lift? What should I do? I emailed them and asked them to look at the before/after pic's and the op note and haven't heard back yet. Can I get an opinion from a different surgeon? (I didn't think they liked to get involve, but I need to know if there was a mid face lift done. (I don't think so by the suture lines either.) Help!
