I had 3 vials about 4-6 weeks apart. I started seeing results from 1st vial 3-4 weeks out.

Hi Siggie, I had immune reaction to Sculptra 5 1/2 months post last injection. My Dr put me on the Prednisone for 5 days also. The swelling totally disappeared and came back immediately after finishinb the meds. He then put me on Doxycycline 250 mg 2x day. I did this for about 30 days which finally solved the problem. I still had lumps under skin but these were not visible. It has been almost 2 years since my last injection and can only feel a couple lumps now. Hopefully this helps. My Dr took pictures and sent to manufacturer and discussed the problem with one of the drug companies Dr consultants. I will never use again. Hope something works for you.

    Hi Skin Girl,
I appreciate all the information and before and after pictures. I too have considered the CO2 but was a little concerned with the complications of some. You looked great before and after. Did the CO2 accomplish all that you had hoped for? I am your age and want to avoid a face lift if I can. Was there any lasting skin tightening? Sorry for all the questions but I live in the Chattanooga area also and had a consult with Dr White. Thanks so much!

I didn't use around eyes or lips. Only used in cheeks and jawline. I went to Board Certified Plastic surgeon who had a lot of experience using Sculptra. He assured me it was mixed properly and injected properly. I had basically decided not to use Sculptra because of possible lumps until the PS convinced me the new method of injecting and mixing the product made it safe and now FDA approved for cosmetic purposes.
