Save your money and get a $500.00 peel. Same results, way less pain and down time. I am not just trying to be negative. I just don't want to see this farce perpetuated. It does not work, is not worth it. It is painful, will take a minimum of 8-10 days out of your life and after the swelling goes down, all the wrinkles and scars are back plus some. The worst part is going back to the office where the staff, oohs and aahs and says wow you look so fabulous, your pores are so great, etc. and you know it is total crap. Not one other person, including yourself will notice any difference whatsoever, because there isn't any. The before and after pictures are taken in different lighting, with different background and the after is always scheduled for the afternoon when they know you will be wearing make-up. Then it is all about "waiting" for the collagen to miraculously regenerate. I knew better, I just wanted to believe it. I am out $3000.00, listen and learn.
So, I had it done in early June. The recovery was worse than I expected. After all my skin peeled off my face looked pink and smooth. I did however have lots of large deep breakouts on my face, neck and chest. I did not have anything like this ever before.
About 2 months later, my wrinkles are all back. The pink smooth skin was really the last of the swelling going down. But of course, that is when the next photos were taken. Now that the swelling has completely gone, all and I mean all, the wrinkles are just as deep as before.
I think it was O.K. for evening out skin tone, but think a $400.00 peel would have produced the same results. They keep telling me that I need to wait for the collagen to kick in. Don't think I will hold my breath. Could have used the $3000. toward a facelift.
Did the procedure. I had a really hard time for about 5 days after. My eyes swelled shut and neck was very painful. I pretty much looked like a train wreck. No way could I put on make up at 5 day out. My skin looked very pink and smooth after about 9 days but I continue to have painful break outs and red spots. After the swelling went down the wrinkles came back and the only thing I can really say is that is removed my freckles and dark spots. I think a $500.00 peel would have accomplished that without the brand new acne and the week I lost. I am still having nasty deep acne, which I have never had in my life.
So, results minimal, inconvenience maximal and cost $$$$. Nope. This is my gift to you. Don't do it.
