Angela, RIP..
I haven't been on this website for a while but what I've learned today absolutely shocked me..Angela was helping everyone with her vast knowledge about laser treatments. It is very sad news, I'm so upset.
Hi Awalk,
Thank you for your post, I will try and research all these methods you recommend, I will also look forward to receiveing an email from you!
Areta
Awalk: thank you very much for all of the tips! I have now send you an email to your priv, hope you have received it! Also by your suggestion I have posted my own topic in Laser Resurfacing section, the title is: "Fraxel or traditional CO2 for post-surgery scars?". All my pictures are there so you can see my scars. True colors: Do you think the permament make-up lady may possibly use kit and tatoo gun for lips as well??
Awalk, I've been reading your postings for months and like many people here I think it is very kind of you to help people with your knowledge and experience. If it's possible I would like to get an advice from you re: CO2 treatments. I have post-accident,post-surgery scars on my face. I had dermabrasion with traditional CO2 laser twice(I think it was Sharplan),I was very pleased with the results. I would like to get this treatment again however after seeing other doctors (my "original" doctor doesn't do dermabrasion anymore) it was suggested to me that I should try Fraxel re: store treatment instead. I've been reading posts on this forum for some time now and they scared me off Fraxel. I'm 30 years old so ideally I'm looking for a treatment which will help my scars look smaller and also I have few acne scars. I'm not thinking about treatment which will make me look younger, my main concern are my scars. Do you think I should go for traditional CO2 I had before? One of the doctors I saw said that I shouldn't do it too often as it is very invasive treatment and recovery takes some time as well..I have one more question, if anyone with similar case is reading this perhaps could help me...? I was also advised by the permament make-up lady that I should get the laser treatment done first and then after 2 months I could go for lips permament make up (my upper lip is scared and will be treated with laser too). Is that long enough period for my upper lip to heal from laser treatment? Would be grateful for some advice..
