Hi Mary - I had that procedure you're describing, but I had silicone implants. It was toooooooo EZ, g/f, a ten minute procedure. My plastic surgeon did tell me during the procedure (Iwas awake) that it's MUCH harder putting the "bags" in than takin em out! The incision is small, a tugging sensation, and pop they are out. Perhaps you can ask your ps if your insurance will cover this, my insurance covered my procedure, so it cost me nada. Best wishes1
Hi Mary, when is your explant surgery scheduled? The bags definitely need to come out, but my plastic surgeon left the capsules in (that's part of your body that forms around the implants as a protective barrier). Geez, even our own bodies try to "protect" us from a foreign object! As you've read from the ladies here that have removed their implants; you'll feel healthier and with a renewed respect and love for your "real self". Hugs, Sirena
Hi Lola, Yes, I'm so happy to feel like my ole self again. And yep, I keep askn "what was I thinkin'" lolz.... Love the large dose of reality (I finally get it, quit looking like a stupid bimbo! hee hee) - that's what finally happened for me. And don't you just love sleeping on your tummy, luv it!
Lola, I am so glad to hear that you got implant free, and that your lift has improved the appearance of your breasts. I personally now think the perky uplifted look is quite hot. I was delusional myself and I was most likely the laughing stock of those around me lol. I can even laugh at myself now too hee hee. I'm so glad to hear you are "keeping" good hon. Hugs across the ocean.

Hi Golden, I'm doing great, feel soooo much better. The biggest thing for me is I can actually breathe lolz. Crazy, what were WE thinking, not accepting our beautiful selves is it huh. I had a lift when I had my implants place, and actually enjoying the perkier smaller size, so I don't look like Mama Implants walking in the door. Now I notice the "hard look" of implants when I see them on other women, and I wonder if they know what they've gotten themselves into. If they are freshly implantees I know it may only take 6 months or so b4 things go awry. Sooo many women have had to have revision surgeries and all. Of course the plastic surgeons don't tell us that, and the reality is most will have capsular contraction, also, not revealed. We all find out the hard way, and the hardship on our precious bodies huh. Where are you from? I like the "how are you keeping" tha's cute.-Sirena
