Hello everyone. I have missed you!! Sorry not to have written for so long and massive apologies to those who have written me private emails that remain unanswered. I just couldn't deal with it for a while. I hope you understand. I just passed the year mark and I have been trying to update my review but it is so fucking depressing that I just cry and cry. I have also recently had pneumonia because of how run down and exhausted I am from all the stress of this disaster. I am only just recovering from the pneumonia now. The past year has been a complete nightmare as you would all know too well. I hope that you are all doing better and I am going to read all of your posts this weekend. I was hoping so hard to be able to say that I had completely recovered after one year but I cannot. I will write more when I have read your posts. Love to you all. Hang in there. K x
Hi Lorri,
Have you considered asking your original provider for a contribution to fix the damage? It is a heck of a lot of money! Now that I know how much this is really going to cost me, I am considering asking mine. She was happy enough to take my money while clearly having no idea what she is doing despite at least two decades working in this area, so I think she should help me sort out the mess she left me with. In my case, I signed nothing and my injector also prescribed me the antibiotics that made the botox go so crazy, so she really should take some responsibility. I can't be bothered with a law suit (although there are days where I would actually consider a law suit to be a productive use of my time) but I am going to write a letter asking her for the money. It can't hurt to ask and the worst that can happen is she will say no. If she responds in the negative then I will report her to the State Medical Board on the basis that she failed to warn me of ANY risks whatsoever and her ineptitude in administering botox while she knew I was on antibiotics was inexcusable. I won't get any money from a complaint to the State Medical Board but if she is not going to contribute to my repair work then I think it is only fair that her life take on some of the hellish quality that she gave to mine. I am sure an investigation by the State Medical Board would not be pleasant. I am not a vindictive person, but if doctors stopped fobbing us off and actually listened to us then they would know that these are common outcomes from botox. Perhaps serious complaints are the only way to make them listen?
