I'm writing this as my face is itching like a you know what right now. Day 4 of the DOT and as uncomfortable as I am right now, I want to say, I love this procedure. This is my third one and hopefully my last. I'm sharing my story because I suffered my entire life from cystic acne which left embarrassing scars. So much that it limited my life. I think I was realistic in expecting and hoping for maybe. 25% improvement. Well, it's well exceeded that. What made me feel really good was, prior to this most recent laser, the doc said, wow, I'm hardly seeing any problem areas. She went very aggressive the first two times and although it was both painful and disgusting, but on the 7th day, the heavens open up and I'm amazed. This DOT laser is designed for continued improvement. FL1202, I had the same response as you did, great plump baby skin initially then reality sets in. But with that said, please take pics now and three mos from now. It'll be so gradual that you may not appreciate the improvement but realistically, I have achieved at least 50% improvement with each laser. It's designed to stimulate collagen over time. I encourage you to try it again. I know it's hard to go through but imagine not having to wear make up at all. I'm 48 and at my age, less is best!
