Regarding your dry eye problem, I think I may have a temporary solution. First of all, using large cotton balls (or clean washcloth) soak your eyes (close them first) with warm to hot water for about 3 minutes each. This will bring tears to your eyes. Then use eye drops for dry eyes. The one I suggest is called "Prefrin Eye Drops for Dry Eyes". Unfortunately, you can't get it in America any more. But, if you look on the web, look up Prefrin Eye Drops and they sell it in New Zealand for $8.50 for a small bottle. I don't offhand have the website, but I've been using Prefrin Eye Drops for 20 years, as I have a dry eye condition, and they're the only eye drops that don't burn my eyes. Good Luck to you.
:)hugs.
I'm the one who slept on my glasses and caused a deep dent inbetween my eyebrows. Well, it's been over a week and it did dissipate a lot. I won't call my doctor, because I had a similar problem a month ago and he acted as if it was all in my imagination. But, I figured out how Dysport works. Dysport injections are like having a soft gel pack injected into your face. If you get a slight dent and you massage it to straigten it out, it ruins the whole look with lumps and bumps moving all over your face (just like a gel pack). Every day I check my face the first thing in the morning to make sure my face is in one piece (smooth). Be very careful not to have any slight accidents (like with glasses) on the parts injected with Dysport. Just don't touch it, and if you do get bumps, I found out that cold water massaged softly over the skin helps greatly. I can't wait for this Dysport to dissipate so I can go back to Botox, which I've never had ANY trouble with. But, waiting is very nerve wracking. Good luck to anyone who's suffering from negative Dysport reactions. Judy from So. NJ
I had 80 units total of Dysport in mid-August, 2011. I had Botox before with no side effects. 3 days ago, I accidentally slept on my glasses and the nose piece made a deep dent in the middle of my eyebrows. As I manually massaged the dent to get rid of it I got huge lumps all over my forehead. Anyway, I finally managed to massage my forehead enough to make myself look presentable. Now, I am left with a red, swollen nose bridge, and a GIANT red swollen lump from my nose bridge all the way over my left eyebrow and partially on my forehead. Does this eventually dissipate. Help!
I, too, have rashes after glabellar injections of Dysport, on injection sites and not on injection sites; such as, on my right cheek. This is almost 3 mos. post injection. I had 80 units of Dysport injected on August 15, 2011. One huge rash with a hugh lump is located between my eyebrows and over my left eyebrow. Another gigantic rash without a lump is located on my entire right cheek. Help!
