I have had repeated ipl for facial rejuevenation that over the time of having it done has actually been removing hair from my hairline around my face and especially in the temple area. It has made my forhead look large and the sides of my hair have thinned as a whole layer from the sides of the face is no longer there. I'm seeing a hair kiss doctor in a couple of weeks but I suspect that this will be permanent damage. Once a hair follicle is completely dead you can't get it back. I'm very depressed about my hairline loss. The shape it has changed my forhead into is not attractive. I can't believe that the people who administer these things are so careless and unaware. If course that light is bound to travel into the hairline. They just don't think.

Yes I had a very bad experience. Level C - caused scarring and I think ageing to. I wasn't even explained the levels. And yes same as good face gone bad. The therapist that did it refuses to see the square marks and impression

Hi good face gone bad. Thank you for all your help. My forhead was treated on a low C setting and went over it twice. Lower face was done high c and over twice. It is day 19 after treatment and I still have a square indented impression in my forhead and one square mark on lower side of face. They reckon it will go in two weeks. What do you think? I am just under 40 and had good skin with no real issues before the treatment.
