Thanks for the tip! I will have my mom or fiance look into that for me. As of now, pain pills are definitely helping the soreness. I am thankful for that. Apparently my PS had to do some lipo. I'm not sure why. I will find out tomorrow at my post-op. I think that's why I am more sore than others.
Hey everyone! I got back from the hospital last night around 7:00. It took me a while to kick the naseausa. The doctors had to keep coming in bringing me IVs and a shot. Finally, I felt good enough to come home. I was able to eat soup and crackers and take my medicine. I slept decently well in the recliner. I do have drains. Overall, I'm feeling ok. I can't say I'm feeling great yet. But I know I will soon! Did anyone else stay naseausas or lightheaded after they got home?
I took a nice long bike ride yesterday since that's probably the last exercise I will get in for a while. Surgery is tomorrow! I am definitely starting to freak out. I can't decide what is making me nervous...the actual surgery (being under for 4 hours) or the outcome (pain or being unhappy with the results). I am just going to trust my PS and trust all of you! I haven't seen a bad comment on here yet. I can't wait!!
Yay I'm so glad you know what it will be! It's becoming real! The kit that my PS recommended is called VitaMedica. It is a botanical combination to provide anti-inflammatory support. It includes Bromelain with Quercetin and Arnica Montana. I don't know much about it and maybe I just bought into something that may not make a difference one way or another... But some of the reviews from her other patients say that they loved it. I guess we will see!
