Your going for the steroid shot?? What did your doc say about that. To me looks like your nose is healing naturally. I heard good and bad about the shot. Bad- gives dents in nose (which I think takes natural look away) Good- prevents scar tissue build up. I'm too chicken to do it!! lol but, if you do decide to do it plz let us know how it goes!! bc my tip is so damn swollen!! haha
Aww sorry to hear you don't feel as pretty :( First off all you still are beautiful with all that swelling and having surgery ust few days ago! I felt the same exact way and still do (almost 6 mo post) It was so hard bc my ps did not tell me a word about the recovery or swelling. So my front is bigger than my old nose and in weird way, my bridge wide and sausage looking and tip wide and flat and way bigger than my bridge. I had a skinny long nose and miss it so much.I have thick skin too, so at 6 months still I have so much swelling and don't look my best. Your face is still very swollen and so is your tip. You expect to look good right away, but remember you have swelling all over that changes your face and emotional stress from operation and anesthesia. Your mom may not know the process, but your bulbous tip WILL go down don't worry. My tip is till swollen, but finally I saw a bit change improvement. You really have to wait 6mo to 1 year to see the results of it. Overall, I can see your nose is going to look amazing. I know you wanted upturn look, but I think you will come to like that you wont have upturned look. Because with that style then from front your nostrils will appear and look wider. I think your changes on nose is natural and it is good because it will not alter your appearance but just improve bc you have improvement in your nose to make it look its best!! Hey there! wow your profile is getting that slight slope, you will see more of the slope in 2-3 months. Cuz your bridge has swelling. Looks like you have an amazing profile, a perfect amount of slope in my opinion. Mine is sooo sloped on one side I feel like a kid so not exotic or attractive in my opinion. I would have loved to have your results. You can private message me your email if you don't mind that, Ill show you my nose pics. Your tip will be hard as rock for while, but it will go down takes 2 years. The heavy feeling in tip will go away around 4 months, mine did and I have graft. You probably don't so maybe sooner for you. I got mine regretfully done 5 and almost half months ago. If you have any questions about the healing process don't hesitate to ask!
So, I am not the only one experience the weird flared nostril when I inhale and exhale!! I hate it :( it flares out when I'm trying to breathe hard. Its ridiculous and embarrassing. I pray to God its just swelling ? I feel like my bridge was soo reduced that now from front my nostrils look flared. Uhh..so over worrying and stressing over this. I just cant wait for inner swelling to go down so I can peacefully breathe.
wow your ps will see you again in a year. No six months post check up. Looks like your ps is confident you are healing great!! :) Any specific food you are eating/ not eating to help you with the process. Ive been going crazy eating kale and its soo gross but I force myself when I think of this nose needing to heal!!!
