hi - i have read that right before and during your period that pain tolerance is the lowest. in my personal experience, i have found my treatments to be less painful if scheduled right after i have my period. schedule around your period for next time and i think you'll be ok. did the cream sit for at least an hour? my doctor also reapplies a second dose of cream after about 45 minutes which i have found helps with the pain. i have heard that pigment clearing is lessened by injections of licodaine.
