They did turn the laser down for the first treatment, then increased it at the next treatments, so I don't really know. But I did read on here, comments from Doctors that the heat from the laser is so strong that it could scar your skin. Also, I think that I picked at the scab when it was about to come off and it appears that's where my skin is raised now. I also do have a tendency for keloids or hypertrophic scars.

Yes, I did blister a lot. After the first treatment I had one huge painful blister. The blisters are smaller now after the following treatments. I do agree with Tena G. that it seems that I scarred where I picked at the scab.

Thanks for the updated photos. I've had 6 treatments and have not gone back for more yet, as I'm starting to scar. I've had 3 laser pixel resurfacing treatments and it's helping the scarring. I will continue with the tattoo removal soon and will update my pictures. Your results look great and it doesn't look like you are scarring at all. Good luck!

I believe it has two types of lasers, because when I go they use different frequencies for different colors. Mine is getting bumpy too and I think it's scarring, so now I'm doing laser pixel resurfacing to smooth out the scars before continuing with the laser tattoo removal.

I think your tattoo is fading nicely. It does take a long time. I don't see much of a difference between my 5th and 6th treatment either, but there must be some change. I'm having scarring and have now given the removal a break to do laser resurfacing. My scarring is getting better and I read that sometimes you have to give it more time between sessions and change up the laser to see results. Good luck!
