No, I don't really know how the PS closes/decreases the size of the pocket. If you do a search on RealSelf on "procedure to decrease breast pocket for revision surgery," there is a lot of info on this.
Hello Gemma1981,
I think dropping from a 700cc to 300-350cc should definitley make a difference...my guess is this should take you down to a c cup. Just be sure that your PS will be adjusting your pocket to accomodate a much smaller implant. My PS said he didn't need do much of an adjustment to my pocket going from approx 510 cc to 400 cc (I had him measure out the saline from my old implants. I was told by my previous PS that 525 cc was put in. I guess that is how much left). Have you discussed this w/ him?
I'm curious, how much is your revision costing you?
So it's been 11 days since my revision. I went back to yoga on Thursday, the 14th...I took a couple of extra strength Tylenol just in case I was gonna be uncomfortable. I could pretty much could do everythng except a chataranga (if you are familiar w/ yoga). Today, yoga was way better....feeling about 95% healed.
What little swelling I had is going down. I do notice a slight rippling on my upper left breast when I am not wearing a bra. I am fine w/ this...just having smaller breasts is great. I soon as a put on a bra, the slight rippling disappears. And going from saline to silicone is such a huge difference. My breast are so soft and very "moldable," unlike saline. I can't wait to go bra shopping.
I re-read your posts and you never mention what kind of implants you have right now. Saline or silicone? And what profile?
Keep in touch.
I can't seem to find an answer to my question anywhere....
If you use an eyeliner brush (to avoid waste) to apply Latisse to the upper lashline, is that sufficient enough to promote eyelash growth to the lower lashline?
I didn't have much pain at all! I would say it was more of a discomfort than actual pain. Like I said, my PS didn't prescribe any narcotics. He felt Extra Strength Tylenol was going to be sufficient. And he was right! I would say my initial augmentation was the most painful because an actual "pocket" needed to be created to fit the implants. With this surgery, I was "sizing down" so I assume this is why I had very little pain, no real bruising that I can see, and hardly any swelling. I went for a slow walk that very same day. And have been walking very day since. I didn't do much yesterday (which was 2 days after my surgery) but today I feel really good. I vacuumed my house today & went shopping. My range of motion when I lift my arms up is about 80%. And the actual incision area is a bit tender but other than that, I feel great.
I think your recovery will be pretty smooth too b/c you are downsizing also. No more nightmare post op! What size will your new implants be? Saline or silicone?
