Thank you so much for sharing with me :) Ive been back to see her twice to tell her I wasnt happy but she just pretty much keeps saying be happy with what you have its better than before. She said that even if we put them under the muscle that bigger implants would be too much weight because there is no muscle holding it on the bottom of the breast. I researched and it says that they can put it entirely under the muscle and that it would support the bottom. Is yours partially or fully under the breast? I am so discouraged and not confrontational but Im getting a little angry. She works in a group...should I ask to see someone else in the group, maybe get their opinion? Or just go somewhere else entirely. Im in Maine...Hawaii is a little far for me ;)
My doctor is discouraging me from doing anything further saying that the results could be worse than what I have now. That she had a hard time getting these in. Im 46 yrs old, 5'5 and 120lbs. Ive had three children and nursed for 7 yrs all together. I have no stretch marks on my breasts and she said my skin is good. But then says that she doesnt know if my skin will handle the weight of larger implants. On the morning of my surgery we discussed implant size again she said we have the 240-270s but she was leaning towards only filling them to 240...I said I was leaning towards 270 and she told me if I thought I might want to go bigger then I should reschedule. They called me one week prior to my surgery (that had been scheduled for 6 weeks) and told me that they needed a clean mammogram so I scheduled one that week but ended up having another mammo then biopsy so I had to reschedule. I waited almost three months for the surgery (actually like 25 yrs!) Then she tells me (on the morning of my surgery) that because of my work (hairstylist) that I should have them placed on top of the muscle. Everyone says under but I told her that I trusted her judgement on that. I just think they look weird. The side view picture here is my right breast...the left from the side has alot less fullness.
She only filled them to 210cc, the difference between that and the 300s is 90cc, almost another cup size. And they are uneven, you can tell even with clothes on. And they make weird blurping sensations when you palpate them. She said she could put 70 more ccs in the ones in but then they would too firm she thinks. I dont like them at all but thank you for the compliment :)
