Hello, sorry I haven't replied straight away but I have been off computer for awhile. My surgeon said my bulge was from blood that had dried and then like turned into scar tissue..I have been massaging the area and I went back into his surgery to have fixup surgery 2 weeks ago. Since the surgery the bulge had actually gone down by the time I went into have fixup surgery which was good. He opened up scar a little and removed most of bulge and fixed up some little dog ears..The scar has healed well so i'm hoping now that I can move on with everything now.

Nennie i'm so sorry you are feeling this way. Its 3 months for me PO and i also have a bulge that sits on top of my scar as i had a lot of bruising right on top of my scar, it was like i had been in a car accident and the end of my scar has puckered up and the scar has actually been pulled up so one side is up higher than other side. My surgeon has to fix the puckering and scrap out that bulge so it sits flat again. I think the bulge has actually gone down abit thou but im going to have it done in his surgery free of charge. He said he only has to open the scar up about 5cms. And before my surgery i always had these little pockets of fat that used to sit on my hips, they were like elephant ears and from behind they made my butt look a funny shape, i asked if surgeon could lipo them out but he wouldnt do it and now when i look in mirror from behind it looks like the elephant ears have grown so im happy with my front but from behind im a funny shape. Sometimes from side on i look bloated, i dont know if other people have that problem. Someone told me that when you reach 6 months you should be able to see a more settled result. Keep your chin up as its only early days for you and your insides are all still moving around and trying to settle and if you do have a problem with your bulge your surgeon will fix it for you. Im sure when you get to 6 months you will see a more wonderful result. I have only started back last week with my jogging at 3 months as now it doesnt feel like my stomach is going to fall out..hahhaha I still wear my corsit when i jog as well. So its a very slow journey but bit by bit we will get there in the end..Goodluck! :)

Yes i know people used to say i was thin as i was very toned and i could hide my little belly of flab very well so people wouldnt notice it but when i took my clothes off my belly flab was always there and people dont really understand how we cant deal with that loose skin in our everyday lives, i was even at the point where (as I'm separated) i wouldnt go out and meet any males because if i met someone nice i know that i wouldnt be intimate with them because of belly. Sounds silly but thats just how i was. So enjoy your new look! :)
