I'm honestly feeling AMAZING! Lol. Totally unrelated, but my boyfriend proposed to me last night, and I'm sporting an amazing gigantic ruby on my left hand. I was so completely shocked, and I'm just incredibly happy. I've been stressing out so much about my upcoming surgery, and this just totally refocused me, and made me realize what an amazing life I have, even without boobs. :)
Anyway, as for my new boobies....I can't wait!! My surgeon didn't really give me any input as to what kind of bras I'll need following surgery, but I went ahead and bought some really soft, stretchy sports bras. After reading so many of these posts, I figured it would be a good idea to have a few options following surgery, because I'm probably not going to feel like going to Walmart for a few days. The closest one is over thirty minutes from where I live.
I've been trying to get my entire house cleaned top to bottom, but with four kids, nothing really stays that way for long. I've been making lists upon lists, stocking up the pantry, and making arrangements for all of the kids the day of surgery. My fiance (love that) will be home with me for two weeks following surgery, so he'll handle the kids and the house. I'm really just concerned with my ability to take it easy- I'm not very good at that, and I'm afraid I'll do something stupid and set back my recovery.
I have received my order in the mail of the arnica montana, arnica gel, and bromelain, and I've been taking a multi-vitamin as well as some extra zinc and vitamin C. I did this prior to my hysterectomy and I healed so fast; I went back to work nine days after that procedure. As far as my physical healinng, I'm really not worried. I am stressing a little bit about the emotional aspect because I do tend to get really depressed when I can't control things. I'm prepared to have really high, hard, ugly boobs for a month, but I know that when it gets right to it, I'm going to be stressing out big time. I'm not really nervous, just excited and hoping that I have everything taken care of before my big day.
How are you feeling?? I'm so glad you commented. :)
I am so excited for you! I have almost identical stats- I'm 31, 5'3" 117-118lbs and I breastfed two children for a combined three years. I went from a 32B to a 32DD while breastfeeding and now I'm left with barely an A. :( I am also having surgery on April 8th! I'm planning on 400cc silicone, but haven't completely decided on profile yet. I'm so worried about a very round "fake" look....what size/type implants are you getting?
I'm also trying to get my home prepared for my recovery. Between my boyfriend and I, we have four kids- 3, 8, 8 and 11. So my life is usually pretty crazy between caring for them and going to school full time. He is amazing and will help in every way, but I'm a little worried about how much the recovery will take out of me.
I'm looking forward to your updates! :)
