I had a large chin implant and had some real swelling. I looked like a chipmunk! The swelling was almost completely gone by one week. I am still having numbness and tingling in my lips and chin three weeks post op. My chin area feels very tight but everything seems to get better a little every day.

I guess you must be correct because she didn't seem to notice at all and it is crazy! She would have seen the difference if she saw me one day post op because I honestly looked like a chipmunk. Glad to hear some reassurance that my chin won't stay numb forever.

It was an emotional roller coaster for me too. Of course after post op I looked like a chipmunk with bruises that didn't help. I am two weeks post op and I am starting to adjust. I have spent a lot of time looking at myself in the mirror and pictures since my surgery and oh no! I keep finding other stuff wrong. I love your pictures and think your chin looks marvelous.

@jjj667788 I saw your photos and I can't believe how little swelling and bruising you had. Did your implant have wings?
