Since I have been off the Botox now, I have no side effects and my migraines are minimal. I was using a cream, Myloflex, which is otc, it did work. I guess you have to determine if you want to take the chance of the Botox side effects.
Since I had my muscles tighten so badly after the first round of botox, my doctor and I decided that I would stay on Topomax and not go for the second round of shots. The side effects of the shots were worse than the migraines.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better, you should start to get better day by day.
I know that I will not go back to the injections, I will stay with medications as the Botox side effects were worse than the migraines. Good luck!
I never heard of that before, maybe the shots were not given in the correct place.
I am now not a fond lover of Botox for migraines as the side effects are more damaging than the migraines!
