Had my full facelift with him back in January - I am very happy with the new young me :) Noticed that you are looking to unwind at a spa prior to your surgery (I did the same thing) and want you to know that Esencia Yoga Spa Retreat is another option for you as they specialize in services geared towards the cosmetic surgery vacation. It is affiliated with Casa Marino (it is owned and operated by Pat Marino's daughter) and therefore they understand which services are beneficial prior to your surgery and which treatments can be performed after your surgery. I had micro current treatments (to stimulate and tighten my face muscles), facials, hot yoga and massages (to calm me down (it worked!)) prior to my surgery. I was as ready as I could be for my surgery and completely at peace. They did such a great job of pampering me, and know that they will do the same for you. Good luck!

Nice to hear from you NadiaHoney, sorry for the delayed response, i have been traveling quite a bit and have not been checking RealSelf :) Thank you for taking the time to read my review and hope that it is truly helpful in taking some of the mystery out of the decision making process. I'll admit that I too was nervous and to save myself from going completely out of my mind I limited my research to a point were I was comfortable with the doctor (communicated with past patients), the cost and at that point committed to the procedure. That was the best way for me and sooooooo happy that I did. You are right about Mexcio being hard to leave! Since my face lift my life has changed in so many positive ways that I am now planning another trip back to San Miguel only this time it is to study to become a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher through Esencia Yoga Spa Retreat (being offered and taught by Melinda Marino, the daughter of Pat Marino, founder of FaceLift Mexico) as my latest quest is to whip my heart, body, mind and soul into shape! Thanks Elise. I'll be seeing my girlfriend at the end of the month and I am a little nervous that she'll be upset about me having the facelift but also that I did not tell her during her visit. Yikes! I in no way want to hurt her and think that I might. Any advise? Thanks much

Hope we were of help to you in your quest for FL information as you are likely to be the last person on RealSelf to discover SpaIClub Casa Marino and Dr Koelliker. I imagine that you found us through reading the FL category and unfortunately newcomer's to RealSelf will not have the same opportunity as they are not going to randomly type in the name of a Doctor that they do not yet know. This is my first time to join a blog and will be my last - - very disappointing.
