-Not having to wear long shirts.
-Not having to be self conscious about my belly flopping around when I run.
-Not feeling my belly on my lap when I sit down
-Wearing fitted clothes
-Wearing short sleeves, tank tops & sleevless tops & dresses without shame (having brachioplasty & TT)
Hi! Wanted to see how you are doing. I, too, am having a Fleur de Lis. You looked great PO. Hope you managed to get through the first week without too much discomfort. Give us an update when you can.
I keep seeing ppl saying they had their pre-op consult and got their prescriptions for post op. I had my pre-op consult last Friday and I got nuthin!! I just realized that I will not see my ps again until the morning of surgery.
Definitely the anesthesia! It can literally take a couple of weeks to get rid of that "tired" feeling. At least that's the experience I've had with past surgeries. And, with my ps estimating 5.5 hrs in the OR, I would imagine that I will be having that "tired" feeling for quite a while.
